The Desmond Tutu HIV Foundation and Desmond Tutu HIV Centre operate jointly from the head office at the University of Cape Town's Faculty of Health Sciences in Observatory. This location also houses the DTHC's Clinical Trials Unit, a clinic atmosphere that sees clients enrolled in antiretroviral treatment and prevention studies.

Their special interest is the vital role that counsellors play in supporting those living with HIV. “Getting tested should be all part of the rhythm of life”, says Zolani Mahola, lead singer in the band. Freshlyground are enthusiastic supporters of the DTHF Sizophila Counsellors.
