Job Description

 

  • The Men's health research arm of the Desmond Tutu HIV Foundation is providing opportunities for highly motivated volunteers who are interested in gaining experience with community engagement, fieldwork and other research related opportunities.
  • All volunteers will have the opportunity to assist with community engagement projects working specifically with Men who have sex with men (MSM) in and around the Cape Town area.
  • All volunteers will have the opportunity to shadow various members of our research team to gain a comprehensive understanding of the research process.

 

Qualification and Requirements

  • Have attained or in the process of completing a university degree
  • Familiarity with or previous work experience with the LGBT community
  • Willingness to work with communities spanning across various socioeconomic and cultural barriers.
  • Minimum 2 month commitment.
