The Desmond Tutu HIV Centre is located at The Institute of Infectious Disease and Molecular Medicine on the Medical Campus of the University of Cape Town.

Directions to the DTHC at the UCT Medical School Campus – From the City
• Proceed along De Waal Drive towards the Southern Suburbs until you come to the hospital turn-off on your left-hand side
• Proceed down to the Main Road, turn right towards Muizenberg and continue until you see Groote Schuur Hospital on your right-hand side
• Proceed to the robots immediately after the entrance into Groote Schuur Hospital and turn right into Anzio Road
• The Barnard Fuller building is situated immediately after the bridge on your left-hand side on Anzio Road. For parking on campus turn left after the bridge before you go up onto the freeway.

Directions to the DTHC at the UCT Medical School Campus – From Muizenberg (Southern Suburbs)
• From Main Road, Muizenberg get onto the Blue Route (M3), and continue towards town, passing UCT’s upper campus on your left-hand side
• Turn right at the airport/hospital turn-off ramp and continue to the hospital until you get to a T junction (Anzio Road)
• Turn right and immediately sharp right again and proceed through the booms immediately above the medical residence.
• Proceed to the parking bays situated in front of the Student Learning Centre (old Anatomy Building) The entrance to the Barnard Fuller Building if you park on Anzio Road is situated just before the bridge that links the Medical School with Groote Schuur Hospital on your right-handside.

Directions to the DTHC at the UCT Medical School Campus – From the Airport
• From the airport proceed along the N2 to the city
• Proceed until the mountain looms close ahead of you. Turn left at the Mowbray/Main Road turn-off (exit 7, M4).
• At the robots next to the bridge turn right along Main Road towards the city
• At the third set of robots (shopping complex on your left) turn left and proceed up Anzio Road
• The Barnard Fuller building is situated immediately after the bridge on your left-hand side on Anzio Road. For parking on campus turn left after the bridge before you go up onto the freeway.
